Awww, rabbit husbandry. What a delight. Apparently my memories of rabbit care are very selective or we completely ignored our rabbits. For instance, I don't remember anyone chasing bunnies around the house, cleaning up their poop along the way. I guess I remember a dirty, stinky rabbit cage. I don't remember cutting up fresh vegetables for them every day and replenishing their hay twice a day. All I remember are the pellets. And now the vet says, "those pellets are way to fattening to feed a pet rabbit." I certainly DON'T remember taking rabbits to the vet!
Katie has been an awesome help! She's so willing to learn all the details of bunny care. She has practiced poop pick-up with paper towels, a mini broom and dustpan, and the hand-vac! The face she's making in the picture was just for effect =) It's part of her Imagination/Inventors Fair project. We're taking pictures of each step in Padme's care and Katie's documenting them on a display board.
